Oxford College

The dining hall at Oxford was the model for Hogwarts Dining Hall in the Harry Potter movies.

J.K. Rowling stayed at Oxford for a summer. Much of Oxford inspired the sets for the Harry Potter movies.  Including this Free Mason mark on the ground by the Museum of the History of Science on Oxford Campus.  This was the inspiration for the mark left by Voldemort on Harry's forehead.
